About me
Having graduated from the University of Leeds with a First Class Honours in BA Film, Photography and Media, I am looking to embark on a creative career within Film and TV. This website showcases my creative portfolio.
I am Adobe literate, particularly with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign and Media Encoder. I have experience as a freelance editor and videographer, but I am more than open to work in both production and post-production. With a background in photography and short film directing, I am proficient with DSLRs and the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K, 6K and 6K Pro.
Based in Preston but willing to relocate or commute anywhere in the UK.
Student Films
Disclosure (Trailer)
For my final project at university, I wrote and directed this psychological drama which follows Freddie, a young man seeking therapy to recollect the memories of his brother’s death.
The full film has a 17-minute run time, and while it is currently being submitted to various film festivals it cannot yet be shared online. However, I edited together a trailer to give a glimpse of what to expect. The final film is the largest creative project I have worked on, and I am immensely proud of the final product.
Overthinking
I wrote and directed this comedy which follows Paul, a pen pusher stuck in a job where daydreaming is the only way to escape his boredom. When a “Do Not Touch” sign is placed above a light switch, naturally, his imagination runs wild.
2:41
This is the first short film I wrote and directed as a student. 2:41 is a dark depiction of insomnia and its effects on the mind.
This was a valuable learning experience on filmmaking, and it gave me a solid foundation of technical skills, creative problem-solving, and collaborative teamwork essential for successful film production.
Skating with Ollie
Short documentary featuring my friend Ollie, showcasing his passion for skateboarding and the close-knit skate community in Leeds. I handled all aspects of the production, including filming, editing, and conducting the interview.
Animation
HNNY - Oma Doris (Unofficial Music Video)
This was incredibly fun to create and is potentially the project I am most proud of. I handled every aspects of this production, including filming, animation and editing.

Photography
Boys in Pink
Boys in Pink, my recent photography series, explores the evolving concept of masculinity by challenging traditional gender roles and societal expectations. Through portraits capturing vulnerability and self-expression, the series aims to dismantle toxic masculinity and encourage a redefinition of what it means to be masculine. I'm honoured that my self-portrait from this series has been permanently mounted on the wall of Clothworkers North, home to the School of Media and Communications at the University of Leeds.
Professional Videography
Purple Hat Mob - Acting Class
I was approached by the band, Purple Hat Mob, to film and edit a rehearsal video for their unreleased song, Acting Class. This video helped the band secure a variety of gigs and music festivals.
This was such a fun project to work on. It was a privilege to spend the weekend with these guys in the heart of the Lake District, witnessing the level of co-operation, trust, experimentation and knowledge, both musical and technical, that goes into crafting their sound.
Joblink Careers Fair Promo
While working as a recruiter for Joblink, an agency within Leeds University Union, I put my videography skills to good use and created this promotional video for a job fair I helped organise. It showcases some exciting opportunities with companies which offer Summer jobs to students. The video will be used to attract companies to future job fairs.
